Flabell Simple Flash Mp3 Player

Minimalistic Mp3 player with a twist, perfect for your website. It supports the basic functions of an mp3 player:
- play
- pause
- draggable volume bar
- sound visualizer

It includes a special sound visualizer that changes when you drag the volume bar.

Note: The song used in this file is a sample, under 30 seconds for legal reasons. You can easily update it in the HTML code (it's passed through FlashVars).

Do you have any example code for how to display the player in a jquery popup?

The embedded code includes visibility:visible which I can't seem to override.

I change all colors in settings.xml but the volume bar steel green. How to change this color ?

Hi. Looks like this isn't changeable in the XML. If you want we can make an update to your file but you need a support ticket.

Otherwise feel free to edit the shape in Flash and export the swf file with the new color, it should work.

Hi - Nice player. Is it possible to control it via Javascript? For instance, I want to change the flash var songURL in response to a user click. I have all the pieces to do this but when my code executes flashObj.SetVariable('songURL', 'http://'new.mp3') nothing happens. The player keeps playing the previous mp3. Thanks.

Hi James. As the player is currently built it works in Flash only. You'd need someone to customise it to accept specific JS calls.

If you want you can get in touch and we can customise it, but we'll need a brief and we'll send you an estimate.

Hello!
I have a problem:
i have installed this player to my website and it was connected to radio stream (icecast).
than i press "pause" - music stop (it's ok), but than i press "play" again - music play from the pause moment, not live broadcast. only after page refresh player plays live broadcast.
what should i do to solve this prolem? (sorry for my English)

It's strange that it was working with a radio stream, as the player is built to work with mp3 files only. I presume the browser is caching the content, which is why it's doing this.

You would need custom work to make it play the way you need it to (not sure it's even doable).
